Abstract
Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berjudul "Generasi Muda Sebagai Agen Perubahan dalam Tantangan Efek Rumah Kaca" yang dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Teknik dan Perencanaan Universitas Ekasakti di SMPN 22 Padang bertujuan untuk membentuk kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan aksi positif generasi muda terkait dampak efek rumah kaca. Melalui program edukasi, workshop, dan proyek aksi, kegiatan ini mengintegrasikan pemahaman lingkungan ke dalam kurikulum sekolah, memfasilitasi partisipasi siswa dalam proyek aksi lingkungan, dan membangun kolaborasi erat antara dunia pendidikan dan masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa tentang efek rumah kaca, dengan partisipasi aktif dalam proyek aksi yang memberikan dampak nyata. Dukungan masyarakat dan pihak sekolah menjadi kunci keberhasilan, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi terwujudnya program PKM ini. Tantangan seperti skala proyek dan keberlanjutan menjadi fokus evaluasi, mengarah pada saran untuk memperluas materi edukasi, memperkuat kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal, dan meningkatkan pemantauan dan evaluasi secara berkelanjutan. Saran ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat dan mengembangkan program serupa di masa mendatang, menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya paham tentang tantangan efek rumah kaca tetapi juga bertindak sebagai agen perubahan yang berkelanjutan.
