Abstract
Résumé La révolution portugaise d’avril 1974, qui met fin à presque cinquante années de dictature, a engendré, par sa complexité et les transformations opérées, des représentations, des nouvelles images et des mythologies propres à fonder la généalogie d’une nouvelle nation démocratique. Cet article essaie de mettre en évidence les ressorts de ces représentations en analysant certains paradigmes d’héroïsme au travers de la presse portugaise d’un des acteurs principaux de cette révolution, Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho.
