Abstract
La méthode des prix hédonistes permet de mettre en évidence une relation entre le prix des biens et leurs attributs intrinsèques et environnementaux. Dans cet article, nous cherchons à savoir si les habitants de l’agglomération grenobloise prennent en compte la qualité de l’air lorsqu’ils choisissent leur logement. Nous nous intéressons également à l’applicabilité de la méthode en France. L’étude menée sur 310appartements montre qu’il n’existe pas de relation significative entre le montant des loyers et la pollution par le dioxyde d’azote. Ce résultat met selon nous en évidence le manque d’information dont disposent les individus sur les différences de qualité de l’air qui peuvent exister au sein des grandes villes.
