SPİRİTÜEL SİYASET: ALTERNATİF BİR DUYGUSAL KAMUSAL ALAN OLUŞTURMA GİRİŞİMİ

Abstract
Bu çalışma genellikle apolitik olarak adlandırılan, bireysel değişimi, gelişimi ve tekâmülü hedefleyen spiritüel hareketler ile siyaset arasında duygular sosyolojisinin kavramsal imkânlarını kullanarak bir ilişki kurmaya çalışıyor. Spiritüel hareketlerin spiritüel nitelikleri yanında büyük oranda duygulara hitap ettiğini; bir tür duygu siyaseti yürüttüklerini ve alternatif bir duygusal kamusal alan inşa etmeye çalıştıklarını iddia ediyor ve bu iddiasını 2018 ve 2020 yılları arasında yaptığımız bir alan araştırmasının verilerinden yararlanarak temellendirmeye çalışıyor. Bunun için öncelikle duygu siyaseti ile neyi kastettiğimizi, ardından da spiritüel hareketleri neden bu kapsamda değerlendirdiğimizi anlatmaya çalışacağız. Böylece hem duygular sosyolojisi hem de spiritüel hareketler literatürüne katkı sunmayı amaçlıyoruz. Bu kapsamda öncelikle duygu, duygulanım, kamusal duygular ve duygu siyaseti gibi kavramları, bu kavramların içinden çıktığı duygular sosyolojisi alanı çerçevesinde ele alıp spiritüellik, duygular ve siyaset arasındaki ilişkileri tartışacak; ardından da bu tartışmaları birbiriyle bağlayıp alan bulgularıyla birleştirmeye çalışacağız. Makale, ulaştığımız sonuçların genel bir değerlendirmesi ile son bulacak.
