Abstract
RESUMO
 
 A presente pesquisa é um processo investigativo acerca dos preconceitos religiosos, em especial praticados contra a religião de matrizes africanas. O objetivo é analisar por meio de pesquisa científica as atitudes racistas e discriminatórias praticadas contra a religião de matrizes africanas, em desrespeito à diversidade cultural, e compreender que a diversidade cultural está arraigada aos costumes dos seus antepassados. A metodologia utilizada foi pesquisa bibliográfica, através de artigos acadêmicos, realizados por pesquisadores da área e publicados em revistas online/digital. Justifica-se a pesquisa pela frequência de casos de intolerância religiosa expostas nas redes sociais e Telejornais do nosso país. Em meio as segregações religiosas impostas através das políticas vivenciadas nesses últimos anos. A pesquisa sustenta-se pelas Leis de amparo aos direitos religiosos que todo brasileiro.
