Abstract
Les feuilletons télévisés turcs véhiculent une modernité alternative qui est caractérisée aussi bien par les normes dictées par le système patriarcal que par le conservatisme social imposé par le gouvernement actuellement au pouvoir en Turquie. En s’appuyant sur les données recueillies au cours d’une ethnographie des publics féminins grecs des feuilletons turcs, l’auteure souhaite illustrer les différentes formes de résistance des publics de la culture populaire face au système hégémonique sous le prisme du genre. Cette étude de cas a révélé que la résistance des récepteurs de sens aux rapports de pouvoir qui leur sont imposés n’est ni toujours oppositionnelle au texte médiatique ni forcément progressiste.
