Abstract
Ce bref essai offre des points de repère pour aborder les dimensions éthique et politique sous-jacentes à l'approche transdisciplinaire de l'écoformation. Cette option de centrage est justifiée à la lumière des débats en cours sur les évidences d'un monde qui arrive au bord de l'effondrement. L'approche écocentrique dans la pensée politique est mise en exergue par les acquis des recherches sur les systèmes complexes auto-organisateurs. Le modèle autopoïétique-énactif du fonctionnement cognitif conçu par Francisco Varela, y compris son dialogue avec la pensée bouddhiste du « chemin du milieu », est associé à la quête incertaine d´une rupture paradigmatique avec la cosmovision industrialiste. De ce point de vue, l'approche d'écoformation est conçue comme un levier incontournable pour déceler les marges de manoeuvre régénérative dont nous disposons encore, avant que le point de non-retour de la crise globale ne soit atteint.
