Abstract
Percussionniste de tradition persane, Keyvan Chemirani n’a pourtant jamais expérimenté cet héritage paternel dans son écho-système d’origine. Il retrace son parcours atypique de musicien et de compositeur français, soulevant les questions de légitimité qui ont freiné ses premiers pas. Il rend aussi hommage au formidable esprit d’ouverture que son père et maître, Djamchid Chemirani, a su lui insuffler. Son récit dessine une autre forme de développement artistique, prenant sa source dans une tradition multiséculaire, mais construisant une carrière en dehors des normes et menant à des processus de création inusités.
