Abstract

Objetivo: Investigar o uso de instrumentos de avaliação de participação e fatores contextuais para permitir uma análise ampliada do neurodesenvolvimento de crianças de risco. Métodos: Estudo transversal, composto por crianças pré-termo, entre 3 e 42 meses. Foram excluídas aquelas com malformação congênita, síndrome genética e exposição à infecção congênita. Para a avaliação foram utilizados os instrumentos Escala Motora Infantil de Alberta (AIMS), Teste de Denver II, Child Engagement in Daily Life (CEDL), Affordances in the Home Environment for Motor Development (AHEMD) e um questionário estruturado elaborado pelas pesquisadoras. Resultados: Amostra de 29 crianças com maior prevalência de alteração nos domínios motor fino (34,5%) e amplo (24,1%); em relação à participação, 58,6% quase nunca brincavam ao ar livre com outras crianças e 75,9% quase nunca realizavam passeios de entretenimento; quanto aos fatores contextuais, observou-se baixa provisão de materiais de motricidade fina (46,4%) e grossa (57,1%) nas residências. Conclusão: Crianças com neurodesenvolvimento classificado como questionável tiveram alterações nos domínios de participação e fatores contextuais, apontando para a importância de uma avaliação mais detalhada. O uso de instrumentos para análise destes domínios auxiliou na compreensão ampliada do neurodesenvolvimento.
