Educação do Campo e mereologia química: aproximações possíveis no estudo de átomo e molécula

Abstract
A mereologia química, uma das dimensões de estudo da filosofia da química, é uma área recente na educação química. Entende-se que discussões filosóficas e epistemológicas são necessárias para o entendimento de conceitos, pois é muito comum, na sala de aula, dificuldades na compreensão de como as unidades básicas se combinam para constituir unidades maiores, ou seja, da relação todo/partes. Esta pesquisa pretende apresentar uma intervenção pedagógica realizada por uma licencianda do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo, habilitação em Ciências da Natureza, que teve por objetivo abordar os conteúdos associados às macro e micropartículas no ensino de química de acordo com as contribuições teóricas do campo da mereologia química. O estudo foi desenvolvido numa classe multisseriada de 7º, 8º e 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental, em uma escola do campo. A metodologia empregada foi pesquisa ação, utilizando-se de múltiplas linguagens para compreender conceitos como átomo, molécula, elemento e substância. O trabalho mostrou que a inserção da filosofia da química no ensino de química pode contribuir para o entendimento dos conceitos micro e macroscópicos, na educação do campo.
