Abstract
In this paper we use an interesting exercise of combining finite trigonometric series to a contour integral method to produce finite series involving special functions. The evaluations derived and conclusions reached are in terms of the fundamental constants and special functions. The finite series derived are in terms of the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function and its composite functions, like the gamma function, polylogarithm function and zeta function. We complete this short study with a table of summarized results featuring finite and infinite products involving special functions and fundamental constants.
