Abstract
La transition socioécologique donne un relief significatif aux initiatives d’économie circulaire, tandis que les entreprises de l’économie sociale et solidaire offrent une avenue privilégiée pour les développer. Situé à Sorel-Tracy au Québec, le Recyclo-Centre inc. est une entreprise d’économie sociale et solidaire de récupération réutilisation-recyclage constituée comme organisme à but non lucratif depuis 1995. Élargissant sa capacité d’action en développant des partenariats importants avec la MRC de Pierre-De Saurel et en exploitant un commerce qui remet en circulation des centaines de tonnes de vêtements, meubles et électroménagers, l’entreprise génère des revenus permettant de créer des emplois, de maintenir une mission d’entraide auprès de personnes vulnérables pour des biens essentiels et d’agir comme entreprise d’insertion professionnelle. À partir d’une entrevue de groupe avec les dirigeants et des partenaires du Recyclo-Centre, l’article fait le point sur les perspectives de sa contribution à l’économie circulaire dans la MRC de Pierre-De Saurel en matière de transition socioécologique.
