Abstract
S’il a descendu l’Escaut, Franck Venaille est familier d’au moins un de ses affluents, à savoir la rivière qui traverse la Belgique et la France : la « Haine ». Quoique parée d’un petit « h », la haine est de fait un sentiment qui irrigue l’itinéraire venaillien, orientant son rapport à la poésie de manière déterminante. La même rivière inspire d’ailleurs à Bernard Noël un texte dans le recueil « Haine de la poésie », publié en 1979
