Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menguraikan peran dinas pemberdayaan perempuan dan perlindungan anak provinsi sumatera selatan dalam pencegahan kekerasan seksual anak di masa pandemi Covid-19 ditinjau dari hukum pidana Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah normatif empiris. Sumber data yang digunakan sumber hukum primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi serta studi pustaka. Teknik Analisis data ditempuh dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Pertama, Peran Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dalam pencegahan kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak belum berjalan optimal disebabkan adanya hambatan yaitu kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia, terbatasnya anggaran dan wilayah geografis provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang luas. Kedua, Pandangan Hukum Pidana Islam terhadap peran Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dalam pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak sesuai dengan tujuan Hukum Pidana Islam yaitu ḥifzh ad-dīn, ḥifzh an-nafs, ḥifzh al-‘aql, ḥifzh an-nasb, ḥifzh al-māl, ḥifzh an-nasl, sesuai dengan kaidah fiqh yang menyatakan bahwa mencegah mafsadat lebih utama daripada mengambil manfaat serta termasuk kategori kajian Siyāsah Syar’iyyah.

 ABSTRACT
 The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of the women's empowerment and child protection service in the province of South Sumatra in preventing child sexual violence during the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of Islamic criminal law. The research method used is normative empirical. The data sources used are primary and secondary legal sources. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and literature study. Techniques Data analysis was carried out with qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate: First, the role of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in South Sumatra Province in preventing sexual violence against children is running optimally due to obstacles, namely the lack of Human Resources, limited budget and the wide geographical area of ​​the province of South Sumatra. Second, the view of Islamic Criminal Law on the Role of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in South Sumatra Province in preventing sexual violence against children in accordance with the objectives of Islamic Criminal Law, namely ifzh ad-dīn, ifzh an-nafs, ifzh al-'aql, ifzh an-nasb, ifzh al-māl, ifzh an-nasl, in accordance with the rules of fiqh which state that preventing mafsadat is more important than taking advantage and belongs to the category of Siyāsah Syar'iyyah studies.Keywords : DPPA, Prevention, Sexual Violence
