Abstract
Cela fait plusieurs années que les clips (ou vidéoclips) ont trouvé un second souffle sur Internet via notamment les plateformes de téléchargement (iTunes, MTV, AOL, etc.) et les sites de partage de vidéos en ligne (YouTube, Vimeo, MySpace, etc.). Cette remédiation du clip sur Internet a vu émerger un nouveau genre : le clip interactif. Des artistes amateurs et professionnels, parmi lesquels on notera le groupe Arcade Fire et le réalisateur canadien Vincent Morisset, exploitent les possibilités offertes par ce nouvel espace de diffusion et intègrent l’interactivité dans leurs clips. Mais s’agit-il pour autant d’une expérience audiovisuelle totalement inédite ? Le présent article propose de revenir sur ce phénomène encore peu étudié de la remédiation des clips sur Internet en relevant certains éléments de continuité (l’attraction) et de discontinuité (l’interactivité) entre les clips programmés jadis sur MTV et ceux diffusés actuellement sur Internet.
