Abstract
L’espace est intimement lié à la tragédie. De Phèdre à Maria Chapdelaine jusqu’au Vendeur de Sébastien Pilote, cet article s’attache à démontrer la parenté des ressorts tragiques dans ces oeuvres. Plus particulièrement, l’annonce — le récit de Théramène, le récit d’Eutrope, le récit des policiers — constitue le centre de cette étude. Le quiproquo, la fatalité monstrueuse, les divinités sont autant de variables redistribuées dans ces récits que l’analyse met à profit. À terme, il s’agit d’éclairer le film de Sébastien Pilote, en postulant, centrale, sa constituante tragique.
