Abstract
L’oeuvre cinématographique de Catherine Martin laisse entrevoir une certaine inquiétude de l’image au moment où un important changement de régime historique est en cours. Sans nostalgie, ces films tentent de lier avec le passé de l’image cinématographique, tout comme avec celui de la société québécoise en général, un lien ambigu et essentiel qui redonnerait à l’image une dimension proche et artisanale.
