La ética, moralmente, precisa cuando una conducta o práctica de las personas es permitida en la sociedad, es decir, estudia lo bueno o malo del comportamiento humano, individual y colectivamente. El objetivo del artículo es interpretar reflexivamente si un individuo inmoral es un buen docente, actualmente. El perfil ético del docente de primaria y secundaria es percibido bajo el lente moralista pretérito de la Iglesia, que sacralizaba el sufrimiento y sometimiento. Esta investigación es de corte cualitativa, sustentada en la etnometodología. Los resultados de la discusión sobre el docente actual, afín a la ética, moral o inmoral en su actuación, derivaron del análisis reflexivo de variables tales como: antecedentes, lenguaje, deontología, globalización - tecnología y categorías de un buen docente. Estos permitieron la elaboración de un decálogo con normas éticas y morales; asimismo, permitieron llegar a la conclusión de que, un individuo inmoral no puede ser un buen docente, debido a que sus acciones son inmorales.
