Abstract
Cet article se donne pour objectif de rendre compte de la fragilité de l’interculturalisme québécois dans l’espace discursif actuel, tout en faisant la lumière sur de nouvelles approches plus critiques en matière d’intégration et de pluralisme, formes de mobilisation qui émanent principalement de réflexions et de pratiques issues du milieu communautaire au Québec. Il s’agira notamment de démontrer comment la philosophie interculturelle québécoise des années 1960 a progressivement mené à la mise en place d’un projet politique puis à une polarisation idéologique autour d’enjeux identitaires linguistiques et religieux. L’émergence récente d’approches critiques, parfois très hétérogènes, entendent poursuivre un objectif commun : la dénonciation, voire le démantèlement de rapports de pouvoir qui caractérisent aujourd’hui l’interculturalisme québécois.
