Abstract
Si l’insécurité linguistique est un sujet courant dans le discours des minorités francophones, il est également important d’examiner d’où elle provient et comment elle interagit avec d’autres contextes d’adversité linguistique, tels que la glottophobie et le linguicisme. L’ensemble de ces contextes (re)produisent des hiérarchies sociolinguistiques fondées sur des idéologies de la norme unique, et donc de la domination symbolique. Nous proposons que la résilience langagière sert d’expression à la capacité des individus minorisés à agir en contextes de domination symbolique, notamment en contexte de linguicisme, de glottophobie ou d’insécurité linguistique. Ce processus nécessite la mobilisation de ressources internes et externes à l’individu et la participation de systèmes concomitants. Son but ultime est d’arriver à un état de bien-être ou de mieux-être langagier. Nous proposons de penser à une résilience langagière émancipatrice afin de contrer la domination symbolique, par et contre des francophones, et d’éviter que l’atteinte du bien-être langagier des uns se fasse au coût du bien-être des autres francophones.
