presente capítulo examina el comportamiento nuclear de Corea del Norte y su impacto en la seguridad internacional a partir del liderazgo de Kim Jong-un.Para ello, se usa el enfoque hermenéutico como método, mediante el registro y análisis de fuentes primarias y secundarias, tales como informes oficiales, artículos de investigación y prensa internacional, teniendo como perspectiva de análisis el realismo neoclásico.Entre los principales resultados, se encuentra que las armas nucleares en manos de un liderazgo autoritario que no obedece la institucionalidad del sistema internacional pueden representar un cambio en el equilibrio de poder global y una amenaza para la humanidad.
