Selon le Programme de développement durable à l’horizon 2030 des Nations Unies, l’inclusion financière a un rôle crucial à jouer dans la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable. L’objectif de cet article est de voir si les spécificités socioculturelles ont un effet sur la relation entre l’inclusion financière et la croissance économique dans les pays d’Afrique subsaharienne (ASS). Les résultats de l’analyse montrent que l’inclusion financière est un facteur essentiel pour la performance économique en ASS, mais que son effet dépend des spécificités culturelles, religieuses, politiques, institutionnelles et de l’aspect structurel des économies.
