Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar materi operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan aljabar menggunakan “Discovery Learning” pada Siswa Kelas VII B SMP Negeri 20 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research) yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari : Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan bahwa model pembelajaran “Discovery Learning” dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan aljabar siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 20 Bandung.
