Abstract

Sous forme de récit de pratique, le présent article décrit le processus ayant mené à la création de l’Association québécoise des travailleuses sociales et travailleurs sociaux (AQTS). Les auteures, dont les efforts ont permis la fondation de cet organisme, sont membres du comité de travail et du premier conseil d’administration de l’AQTS. Par le partage de leur expérience, elles souhaitent illustrer que le contexte ayant généré la motivation de créer l’AQTS est également responsable des obstacles ayant nui à sa création. Afin d’assurer son existence future, des gestes concrets et créatifs doivent être posés.
