Abstract
Der Beitrag geht von den drei Stichworten „Museal – öffentlich – virtuell“als Möglichkeit für Lehrer*innen und Schüler*innen aus, sich mit Sprache in authentischen, außerschulischen und informellen Räumen wie Ausstellungen und Museen zu bewegen und teilzuhaben, sich Fragen zu relevanten Themen, auch im interdisziplinären Unterricht, zu stellen und sich durch einen interkulturellen Ansatz mit gesellschaftlichen Phänomenen kritisch auseinanderzusetzen. Migrationsgesellschaft und weltweite Vernetzung können einen öffentlichen Austausch zwischen Werten und Unterschieden sowie Gemeinsamkeiten thematisieren und fächerübergreifend aufarbeiten. Mehrere Studien haben Themen aus dem Blickwinkel historisch aktueller Debatten und der Erinnerungskultur aufgegriffen.
