Abstract
Dans cet article, nous analysons le rôle des croyances religieuses dans le cadre du programme des droits sexuels et reproductifs en Argentine. Pour ce faire, nous présentons les résultats d’une enquête d’opinion publique réalisée en 2021 en Argentine dans le but d’identifier les représentations et les imaginaires en place qui articulent religion, politique et avortement. Les résultats révèlent des processus de sécularisation et de laïcité où coexistent des dynamiques complexes de recouvrement entre la présence publique historique des institutions religieuses et l’avènement d’une société plus diverse et plurielle où les individus bénéficient d’une plus grande autonomie dans la définition de leurs choix de vie.
