Abstract
Kurangnya akses penerangan di wilayah RT 39 Kelurahan Manggar Kota Balikpapan berakibat sering terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas bagi pengendara yang melintasi jalan dan tindak kriminal pada malam hari atau kondisi gelap. Ditemukan juga kondisi, pelaku-pelaku UMKM, sebagian besar menggunakan promosi konvensional untuk pemasaran usaha atau produknya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Bina Desa berupaya memberikan solusi dengan penerapan sistem solar sel sebagai penerangan lampu jalan pada RT 39 dan kegiatan Pelatihan Penggunaan Digital Marketing bagi pelaku UMKM sebagai media promosi usaha. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian telah terpasang dan berfungsi dengan baik 2 unit lampu penerangan jalan berbasis panel surya di RT 39 dan telah terlaksana kegiatan sosialisasi terkait panel surya dan cara pemeliharaannya. Telah dilaksanakan juga kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan digital marketing kepada pelaku UMKM di wilayah Manggar yang mendapat respon positif dari peserta. Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bina desa ini juga dilakukan serah terima 2 Unit Lampu penerangan jalan desa berbasis panel surya kepada pihak kelurahan yang langsung diterima oleh Lurah Manggar Balikpapan. Hasil analisa pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 20% pengetahuan peserta terkait panel surya dan penggunaannya, peningkatan 70% terkait pengetahuan tentang digital marketing, peningkatan 30% terkait peserta akan menggunakan media sosial untuk altenatife promosi usaha atau dagangnya.
