Abstract
O presente artigo apresenta algumas das ações desenvolvidas por Promotoras Legais Populares (PLPs), no município de São Leopoldo/RS/Brasil, no contexto da Covid-19. Observamos um uso êmico da noção de cuidado para definir estas ações, visto que elas atuam a partir de suas comunidades ultrapassando o objetivo inicial de disseminação de informações sobre leis e direitos, para comporem uma rede de práticas comunitárias que visam a manutenção da vida nestes locais. O texto está amparado em entrevistas e em observações de encontros das/com as ativistas durante o ano de 2020, no formato online.
