Abstract
À partir de l’armistice de 1940, une partie de la Savoie est placée sous la tutelle militaire italienne alors que l’administration française garde théoriquement sa souveraineté. Deux traits caractérisent l’attitude de l’occupant italien : d’une part, sa volonté de protection des Juifs contre les persécutions dont ils étaient victimes de la part des autorités allemandes et françaises ; d’autre part, une répression pénale dirigée contre les maquis à partir de 1943 par une justice militaire italienne appliquant le Code fasciste de procédure pénale militaire.
