Abstract
RESUMOConsiderando que a situação da saúde do país, onde a demanda é maior do que a oferta, o sistema exige dos profissionais de saúde uma nova postura, uma vez que o atendimento médico ao paciente nas emergências e emergências pediátricas requer cuidados técnicos e emocionais dos profissionais de saúde, principalmente na porta de entrada do sistema de saúde na atenção terciária.O cuidado prestado pelo profissional da equipe de enfermagem ao paciente pediátrico requer cuidados técnicos subjetivos para a compreensão da particularidade, peculiaridade e expressão emocional da criança.Em uma emergência com risco de vida, além de cuidar de seus pares, também é importante desenvolver um plano de cuidados que inclua toda a ajuda necessária para salvar vidas Em uma definição clara e concisa de pronto-socorro, pode-se dizer que é uma unidade destinada ao atendimento de pacientes com ou sem risco de morte e cujos problemas de saúde requerem atendimento imediato.Portanto, o termo emergência refere-se à gravidade da saúde da pessoa e ao tempo necessário para a prestação dos serviços, sendo um fator essencial para restaurar funções importantes o mais rápido possível e reduzir possíveis sequelas.Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura com abordagem qualitativa.Este trabalho demonstra como funcionam os departamentos de emergência e emergência pediátrica e como é importante melhorar o atendimento para reduzir a espera e fazer com que a empresa de assistência busque atendimento de boa qualidade para a saúde infantil.Portanto, conclui-se que o papel do enfermeiro é aliar o conhecimento científico com liderança, agilidade e raciocínio rápido em emergências.
