Abstract
Este escrito tiene como propósito propiciar el pensamiento crítico en materia de Derechos Humanos desde un enfoque latinoamericanista, por lo cual toma como base el pensamiento crítico de la Escuela de Frankfurt para luego efectuar una exposición del pensamiento de autoras y autores de la región. Al tiempo que busca incentivar la discusión crítica más allá de los postulados teóricos, dado que ante nuevas formas de dominación se necesitan nuevas formas de liberación. Si la razón instrumental propició la barbarie durante la Gran Guerra en Europa, se perdió de vista lo que estaba ocurriendo (y todavía ocurre) en América Latina, por lo que con este escrito se pretende visibilizar la necesidad de retrotraer ese pensamiento e incentivar la praxis mediante la integración de movimientos sociales.
