Abstract
Dans cette étude, des fibres de lin continues sont associées à des fibres courtes par un procédé de fabrication inspiré de l'industrie papetière.L'ajout des fibres courtes permet de maintenir l'alignement des fibres continues dans les plis unidirectionnels (UD).Les composites lin/époxy sont constitués de 8 plis de renfort mixte UD-mat de lin, avec deux séquences d'empilement : unidirectionnelle [0]8 ou croisée [0/90]2S.Des essais d'impact par masse tombante sont réalisés pour quatre niveaux d'énergie : 3, 5, 8 et 11J avec un impacteur hémisphérique.Des tests de fatigue (traction-traction) sont effectués à une fréquence de 5Hz avec un rapport de charge de R=0,1 pour trois niveaux de contrainte appliquée.Les résultats obtenus sont corrélés aux endommagements observés par microtomographie et par MEB, permettant ainsi une meilleure compréhension du comportement dynamique de ces matériaux.
