Abstract
Este ensaio discute traços da sociedade contemporânea, destacando a noção de “racionalidade neoliberal” forjada por Pierre Dardot e Christian Laval, na qual destacam-se tendências como a competição generalizada e os sistemas de concorrência, bem como a centralização no indivíduo e o processo de mercantilização das relações humanas. Como contraponto, analisamos características da Ginástica para Todos (GPT) numa perspectiva sociológica-praxiológica, argumentando que a sua prática regular pode contribuir para a construção de uma lógica social fundamentada na coletividade, constituindo-se, portanto, numa prática de resistência.
