Abstract
Este artículo tiene como objetivo relacionar la pandemia y los conflictos ambientales desde la perspectiva de la mediación como una práctica. Al igual que la pandemia nos invita a una forma de convivencia impregnada de la cultura de la mediación, los conflictos ambientales nos interpelan desde hace mucho tiempo a convivir con respeto a la diferencia, la alteridad, la colaboración y el diálogo. Además del aporte teórico, el artículo presenta ejemplos del uso de herramientas y valores de mediación en trabajos realizados durante la pandemia, previniendo impactos negativos ambientales en la gestión de residuos sólidos en Brasilia, Brasil.
