Abstract
Komunikasi partisipatif merupakan kunci dalam sebuah proses komunikasi yang melibatkan masyarakat, khususnya di bidang pertanian dalam upaya penyampaian aspirasi dan pendapat. Pertanian yang berdaulat menjadi tujuan utama peningkatan petani lokal dalam memanfaatkan lahan pertanian. Kelompok tani mengorganisasikan para petani dalam mengembangkan usaha tani mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang karakteristik kelompok tani di wilayah Ciawi, Kabupaten Bogor, mengetahui tingkat komunikasi partisipatif kelompok tani di wilayah Ciawi, mengetahui tingkat aksi kolektif pada kelompok tani di Ciawi, dan mengetahui hubungan antara kqarakteristik kelompok tani dengan komunikasi partisipatif mereka. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Partisipan penelitian terdiri atas 30 orang petani di wilayah Ciawi, Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan penyuluh dengan komunikasi partisipatif kelompok tani.
