Abstract
O artigo fará uma abordagem sobre a História da Fotografia sob o ponto de vista de sua construção bibliográfica. Serão analisados textos referenciais a respeito do tema procurando demonstrar a importância do mesmo sob o ponto de vista das Ciências Humanas. O tempo da fotografia é um dos tópicos abordados, assim como o maquinário fotográfico, o registro de acontecimentos históricos e a popularização de imagens, com ênfase ao circuito social da fotografia. O material utilizado foram textos trabalhados na disciplina de História e Fotografia do Mestrado em História da Universidade Estadual do Centro-oeste, Campus de Irati e o método foi a análise dos mesmos.
