Abstract

Central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma (HB) occurs in 60–80% of patients with von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL). Thus, regular surveillance for the early detection of CNS HB is recommended. However, expert recommendations for the age to initiate regular imaging varies from 8 to 15 years. The aim of this study is to assess the appropriate age to start surveillance for CNS HB.
