Este trabajo pretende profundizar en la intertextualidad de la poesía de María Domínguez del Castillo, en concreto en El regreso de la lluvia (Esdrújula, 2019). Domínguez del Castillo recurre al diálogo con otras voces para ahondar en los significados textuales y simbólicos del agua, el yo y el tiempo. Tales entidades aparecen desbordadas en una poética centrada en la búsqueda incansable del conocimiento. Siguiendo las escrituras de Woolf, Mann y Eliot, la de Domínguez del Castillo es una poética sustentada en la plurisignificación del agua como cuerpo moldeable a través de una hibridez de géneros que busca, insaciablemente, una lectura en clave ontológica.
