Abstract
Entrepreneurship is the object of media and political attention that could lead to interpreting it as the result of a fashion. As such, it is sometimes used in adjectival forms that can be surprising. Nonetheless, the expression "entrepreneurial strategies" seems timely, as the publication of special issues by renowned academic journals shows. These journals sometimes make ambiguous remarks through their coordinators about interpreting the field of entrepreneurship into that of strategic management. Yet it seems reasonable to recognize these two areas as being singular, even if they cover a set of notions or concepts that, in the end, constitute the foundation of entrepreneurial strategies. Although we may be enthusiastic about works coming from related structuring, it is important not to dilute the singularity, thus the identity, of these areas. This article attempts to take stock of the situation in order to avoid harmful amalgams.
