Abstract
The coming to power of the liberal government in 2003 polarized Quebec's collective actors into 2 camps: promoters and opposers of the reforms proposed by the liberal government. This article takes stock of the labor relations situation in light of the reforms initiated by the government. The research shows that the liberal government initiatives are in line with a trajectory borrowed from English-speaking countries, but that the partial reforms of the processes and structures of collective negotiation are likely to restrain the flexibility of managers and unions.
