Abstract
This article uses a review of the literature in an attempt to evaluate the influence of enterprises' national culture on the choice of foreign market entry modes. The empirical studies examined indicate that a relationship exists between the two variables. However, the effect noted varies depending on the cultural dimensions used. The analysis carried out shows that it is preferable to look at culture from several dimensions rather than relay on only one factor. It confirms the need to integrate the cultural variable into the explanatory models for the choice of an entry mode.
