Abstract
Kujtimet e luftëtarëve ndër luftëra, iu kanë shërbyer studiuesve të fushave të ndryshme, përfshirë edhe studiuesit e historisë. Gjatë luftës së viteve 1998-1999, Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës (UÇK) zhvilloi luftime e operacione që karakterizohen me jehonën dhe peshën e tyre në opinionin e brendshëm dhe atë ndërkombëtar. Një ndër betejat më të njohura është ajo e Llapashticës, e zhvilluar më 24-27 dhjetor 1998 ndërmjet forcave të UÇK-së dhe forcave ushtarako-policore serbe. UÇK-ja në këtë betejë, pos që u përballë me forca të shumta serbe, si ato ushtarako-policore dhe paraushtarake u përballë edhe me të ftohtit me ngrica të larta.
