Il s’agit d’un rapport de la conférence hybride d’Alice Laumier, qui s’est tenue le 8 mars 2024, à l’Université de Toronto, et organisée par la directrice du Département de français, Anne-Marie Brousseau, suivi d’une réflexion de ma part à partir de cette présentation de Laumier. Mon ajout est à propos d’une lecture récente de traduction sur un passage d’un livre de Sarah Kofman, Rue Ordener, Rue Labat, qui relate l’effet d’après-coup que lui provoque un film de Hitchcock, The Lady Vanishes.
