Abstract
Pembangunan fasilitas kesehatan merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian pemerintah terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, berdasarkan presentase angka kematian ibu yang menjadi pertimbangan pelayanan kesehatan di aceh yang menunjukkan pergerakan fluktuatif dan kematian pada bayi yang terus meningkat. Kondisi ini memerlukan fasilitas kesehatan yang lebih maksimal dalam pelayanan dan penanganan terhadap pasien intensif ibu dan anak. Perancangan rumah sakit ini merupakan perancangan rumah sakit khusus kelas B dengan penerapan tema optimal healing environment, sehingga dapat membantu memberikan solusi terhadap penyembuhan pada pasien ibu dan anak. Penerapan tema optimal healing environment ini diterapkan pada ruang luar dan ruang dalam bangunan, serta mengaplikasikan unsur alam, indra dan psikologi pada bangunan dan lingkungannya. Diharapkan dengan penerapan tema optimal healing environment ini dapat menghadirkan kenyamanan dan rasa senang sehingga dapat membantu proses penyembuhan pasien ibu dan anak.
