AbstrakPerolehan prestasi kejuaraan PON di berbagai cabang olahraga di Aceh beberapatahun terakhir ini sedang mengalami peningkatan. Salahsatu cabnag olahraga yang setiap tahun nya memperoleh prestasi di berbagai tingkat jekuaraan adalah cabang olahraga akuatik. Dukungan dari pemerintah terhadap para atlet akuatik Aceh sangat dibutuhkan dalam penyediaan sarana prasarana olahraga untuk menunjang kegiatan Latihan dan pembinaan para atlet yang lebih serius dan intens lagi. Hadirnya aquatic sport center tipe A di Aceh dapat meningkatkan potensi dan bakat atlet renang aceh untuk mengukir prestasi lebih banyak lagi, dan juga dapat dipergunakan oleh masyarakat umum untuk melakukan aktivitas dan pembinaan renang. Konsep perancangan bangunan Aquatic ini menggunakan tema Arsitektur Kontemporer dengan karakter bangunan yang dinamis, saling terhubungnya ruang luar dan dalam, dan didukung dengan penataan lansekap yang harmonis.
