La douleur aux membres inférieurs est un motif de consultation qui peut être difficile à évaluer par ses présentations cliniques parfois confondantes ainsi que ses nombreux diagnostics différentiels. D’ailleurs, certains diagnostics ne doivent pas être pris à la légère en raison du risque élevé de complications associées. Ainsi, cet article met en évidence l’importance d’une évaluation rigoureuse de la part de l’infirmière d’urgence afin de contribuer à améliorer la prise en charge et ainsi réduire le risque de complications. Par le biais d’une mise en situation, cet article permet également de faire la révision du questionnaire et de l’examen physique reliés à plusieurs diagnostics fatales et bénins associés à la douleur aux membres inférieurs.
