Abstract
Chers lecteurs et lectrices, c’est avec un réel privilège que l’on unit nos voix, celles de femmes, infirmières autochtone et allochtone, dans cet éditorial afin de vous offrir un texte à coeur ouvert, en toute simplicité. Nous espérons vous sensibiliser sur les enjeux relatifs à la santé autochtone afin de nourrir votre réflexion face à votre pratique infirmière auprès de ces personnes. Nous ne pouvons passer sous silence les tristes évènements qui ont eu lieu au Québec lors du décès de Mme Joyce Echaquan dans l’une de nos urgences. Cette tragédie a eu l’effet d’un électrochoc pour certains, mais a malheureusement peu surpris d’autres personnes. Nous commençons donc par vous partager le généreux témoignage de Kim Picard-Binet et son vécu lors de cet évènement.
