L’adoption rapide des systèmes d’intelligence artificielle (SIA) par les communautés scolaires, collégiales et universitaires affecte profondément nos stratégies d’apprentissage, d’enseignement, d’évaluation et d’organisation. En plus des enjeux pédagogiques entourant le plagiat et l’authenticité des productions des élèves, certains risques sociaux s’accentuent : inégalités, biais, discrimination, confidentialité des données, infraction au consentement et bien d’autres. Pour relever le défi de l’intégration juste, éthique et responsable de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) dans nos établissements, des travaux parlementaires et administratifs s’appuyant sur la contribution du personnel et des équipes-écoles devront être engagés. Une utilisation réussie repose sur le respect obligatoire du principe de précaution pour les entreprises qui développent les SIA ainsi que sur la mise à disposition des ressources nécessaires pour que se déploient pleinement l’expertise et l’autonomie professionnelle du personnel. Du temps libéré pour participer à des formations et pour transformer les activités d’apprentissage et d’évaluation doit aussi faire partie des moyens mobilisés.
