Cinq ans après l’adoption du rapport du Haut conseil à l’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes portant sur Les actes sexistes durant le suivi gynécologique et obstétrical , qui avait trouvé un écho au Québec, ce texte propose d’identifier les démarches et les initiatives entreprises pour faire évoluer l’état du droit québécois au regard des violences obstétricales et gynécologiques (VOG) depuis. Si le paysage législatif, réglementaire et jurisprudentiel n’a pas connu de changement, ni même de tentatives de changement, au cours des cinq dernières années, le financement de la recherche portant sur les VOG connaît pour sa part un élan qui permet d’espérer sinon des transformations du droit, à tout le moins une bien meilleure compréhension du phénomène des VOG et des enjeux qui y sont liés.
