Abstract
Le territoire de l’album jeunesse peut-il contribuer à une écoformation durant l’enfance ? Dans cet article, nous explorons d’abord nos propres souvenirs de lecture, puis nous cherchons à introduire le territoire de l’album jeunesse. A partir de la lecture de Mon arbre à secrets, nous envisageons sa puissance d’évocation et montrons in fine comment – lecture à ciel ouvert – la petite Lucie fait l’expérience d’un arbre confident. Loin d’être anecdotique, l’expressivité singulière de l’album suscite notre intérêt. Il nous semble que c’est aux fondements mêmes de son identité, au cœur de ses compositions artistiques, que se joue l’enjeu d’une rencontre esthétique avec l’oïkos (notre maison). L’expérience de nature de l’enfant s’est aujourd’hui largement appauvrie : nous n’avons peut-être jamais eu autant besoin d’histoires qui puissent agir comme de puissantes écoformations.
